Since 2025, we have been working with the charity ‘Hayat Tchad’, which operates in the province of Guéra, located in the south-central part of the country. For several decades, agricultural yields in Chad have been woefully inadequate. Certain regions in the centre and north are severely affected; families in Guéra are constantly threatened by hunger, in addition to living in chronic poverty.

This new project in Chad began in June 2025. It aims to build the resilience of small-scale farmers in Mandoul Province, located in the south of the country on the border with the Central African Republic. People in this region, as in many parts of Chad, are facing soil degradation caused by the impact of human activities, primarily cotton monoculture.

Despite the great progress made by Rwanda in recent decades, a large proportion of the population still lives in extreme poverty, particularly in rural areas.

Strengthening the resilience to the effects of climate change on small farms in northern Burundi.

With this project, farming families in South Kivu are strengthening their skills in sustainable agriculture through agro-ecology. Agricultural production is diversified and farmers come together to form village savings and loan associations.

Food insecurity is high among the people of north-eastern Uganda. The cause is recurrent drought, which has led to a fall in agricultural productivity.

Through this project in eastern Rwanda, we are working with 14 agricultural cooperatives to make their practices more productive and sustainable, using agroecology.

In response to recurring periods of drought, training farming communities in agro-ecological transition to make the food system more resilient and sustainable.

Washing stations (where the pulp is removed from coffee beans) which are run by cooperatives can produce high quality coffee. The objective is to assist coffee producers in actually producing good quality coffee, which can then be sold at a good price ; in turn, it provides a better income. In the end, the cooperatives should be self-managed.

Providing a family with a goat or a cow can often be a determining factor in improving food security for an entire community.

The objective of this project is to reduce poverty in 3 districts of the southern province of Rwanda, by strengthening the agricultural associations and cooperatives. This project will favor an increase in the production of food and agricultural produce that can be sold at the market, which will increase their income.

This project supports 400 vulnerable families in the Mbale region in the ease of Uganda by providing milk cows.

Located in the Province of Ruyigi, in Burundi, this project seeks to restore food self-sufficiency of the members operating the Seed Centers in Nyabigozi, Mubavu and Kinyinya and the surrounding communities.

With the strengthening of agricultural production and small livestock farming, this project aims to improve the conditions of living of the vulnerable populations in the surroundings of Bukavu, in South Kivu.
