Education and school support
FH has set up various initiatives to encourage and support children's learning. For example, we have set up community libraries so that children can enrich their knowledge through access to books.
School gardens
A school garden is an educational growing space where pupils and teachers cultivate crops together. It enables pupils to learn sustainable agricultural practices.
The positive impact of this training extends beyond the school to the fields of the pupils' families. The children pass on their new knowledge at home, thereby helping to spread and put agro-ecology into practice.
Health, nutrition and hygiene
Good hygiene and good nutrition contribute to good health, and when a population is in good health, community development flourishes and poverty is reduced. With this in mind, FH offers, for example, training in diversified family nutrition.
