Drinking water for 2,400 people in Uganda
In Uganda, FH is helping to build boreholes to draw water from deep underground: four deep wells have been drilled in the Amudat region in the northeast of the country, providing access to drinking water for more than 2,400 people. Through training, we have also strengthened water user committees so that they can ensure the continued operation of new water sources and maintain them sustainably.

Support for the social and professional reintegration of 120 women in the DRC
Between 2022 and 2025, FH supported 120 women who were survivors of sexual violence in Katogota, north of the Uvira territory in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Here are the words of one participant in the project:
"Through this project, I joined a savings and credit association that enabled me to obtain a loan, which I used to open a small business. Today, I have a good customer base and my contribution to the household income has become significant. This new start has allowed me to break away from my past and regain my place in my home and neighborhood. "
This project has enabled 120 women to reintegrate into their communities, thanks to support for small business creation and agroecological training they received to improve their production.

Improved care for patients at the Karita Health Center in Uganda
FH supported improvements to the Karita health center in northeastern Uganda.
Today, patients receive better care: the maternity ward has been renovated, the newly equipped laboratory allows for more accurate diagnoses, solar panels have been installed to power all the equipment, and three latrines have also been built.
The Karita health center is the region's referral facility, with patients coming from 105 villages in the area.
