Still relatively uncommon, meliponiculture holds significant economic and ecological diversification potential for rural communities and biodiversity. Stingless wild bees produce honey that is considered a superfood and a medicinal product. Whether for the local market or export, this precious honey is a valuable asset for producing families. With the aim of integrating this new component into our projects, we organized a training session for our partners from the DRC, Burundi, and Uganda, with the support of the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE).
